NZE-IGWE FARMS LIMITED comprises of three units which includes:

• The Broiler farm
• The Pig farm
• The Fish farm

BROILER FARM

We believe that what happens on the farm has everything to do with the outcome of our final product. Through longstanding partnerships with trusted family farmers, we’re able to do the right thing for our chickens and the environment.

We take pride in the fact that our farmers never add hormones and never will. Our animals avoid bakery by–products, animal oils, fish oils, or tallow. Through responsible raising practices, good nutrition, and living conditions, we are making a difference on your table and in the world.

PIG FARM

At NZE-IGWE FARMS, we produce pigs that our customers use to create pork products that people eat. Knowing our pigs become food for people, we maintain several certifications, and have robust process control and quality inspection throughout our production, ensuring we produce safe, high quality food. We have an uncompromising commitment when it comes to treating our pigs humanely right from their birth, to when they walk into our customers care.

Getting back to the basics means our products are free of added hormones and growth promotants and artificial ingredients. Our farmers take great care ensuring the health and welfare of their animals, along with sharing our commitment to a healthy environment.

FISH FARM

The amount of fish and seafood eaten by Nigerians is increasing each year. Experts tell us that eating fish is nutritious and makes a good addition to the diet. It is high in protein and low in calories. The fat content is lower than that of red meat, and it helps prevent health problems. As people become more health conscious, the demand for fish and seafood increases. The company has built presence with office and teams in Port Harcourt.

Aquaculture is becoming a major industry in this country. The fishes sold in the markets were caught from the wild and the ocean simply cannot sustain enough fish to meet the market demand. To provide people with a supply of fish, fish farms came into production. Catfish is a very productive farm product.

By far the most important food fish grown in Nigeria is the catfish. They are raised in all part of the country because they are fresh-water fish. Catfish are different from most other fishes. They are meaty and have a mild flavor.

The production of catfish begins with the breeding process. Through a system called selective breeding, superior fishes are used to provide eggs for hatching. Factors such as growth rate and size of the fish are used to determine which fish are superior.
